Scarborough Cricket Festival. Gentlemen v Players 1956 & 1957. Four mono real photograph plain back postcards of the Gentlemen and Players teams at Scarborough. Players depicted standing in one row wearing cricket attire in front of the pavilion for the matches played 1st- 4th September 1956 and 4th- 6th September 1957. Players featured include Edrich, Tyson, Wardle, Graveney, Compton, Moss, Evans, Hallam, Shepherd, Bailey, W. Sutcliffe, Warr, Singh, Pretlove, Goonesena, Close, Trueman, Dexter, Insole etc. Titles annotated in ink to lower border, players’ names in pencil to verso. Official stamp for Walkers Studio, Scarborough to verso of each. Very good condition.
