Henry Grey Tylecote. Oxford University, M.C.C. etc. 1874-1886. Single page handwritten letter in ink from Tylecote to ‘Dear [Francis] Lacey’, Secretary of M.C.C., dated 30th June 1923. Tylecote is enquiring after spare tickets for the Eton v Harrow match for a Mrs Wood. He closes by stating ‘I am playing cricket today’ (a few weeks before his 70th birthday!). Nicely signed ‘H.G. Tylecote’. Light folds, file holes, otherwise in good condition.
