North v South, Lord’s 1936. Official mono photograph of the North team who played against the South on the 13th-16th June 1936. The players seated and standing in rows wearing cricket attire and various cricket blazers include Wyatt (Captain), Verity, Keeton, Mitchell, Leyland, Perks, Copson, Hardstaff, Duckworth, Bakewell etc. The photograph, by Sport & General, measures 11”x9.5”, laid down to official photographers mount and overall measures 15.5”x14”. The lower edge of the mount appears to have been trimmed otherwise in good condition. From the collection of Hedley Verity
