‘Cricketers at Play’. Oblong shaped brass belt buckle with scene of a bowler bowling to a batsman with wicket-keeper behind the stumps, circa 1860/70’s. Decorative border. Approximately 2.75”x1.75”. Good condition. Sold with a further small brass clasp decorated with cricket bats, stumps and tents and two brass cricket motifs used to decorate and enhance belt buckles, one with a batsman at the wicket and one with bat, ball and stumps (part broken from this one).
