Australia tour to England 1905. Fourteen original sepia real photograph postcards from a set of sixteen produced of the Australian cricketers and team who toured England in 1905. Each player is depicted standing full length in cricket attire, some in blazers, in various poses, with printed title in black or white to the power portion of the photograph. All postcards from the same series of 1905, Thiele Photograph, printed by Ralph Dunn & Co. Players featured are Noble (Series No. 1000), Trumper (1001), Darling (1002), Hill (1003), Gregory (1004), Howell (1005), Armstrong (1006), Kelly (1007), Hopkins (1008), McLeod (1009), Newland (1010), Gehrs (1011), Cotter (1012), and Duff (1014). Seven postcards postally unused, others postmarked 1905-1909. Some minor soiling and wear, silvering to the odd photograph, otherwise in good condition.
