Victorian cricket Christmas cards c.1895. Four exquisite colour Christmas cards. One double-sided card features a pair of cut-out cricket boots with title to verso ‘May you be bo(w)le’d, And never sol(e)d’. Adhesive marks to verso where previously laid down. The other three folding cards each depict bats, balls and stumps to the front, with titles ‘Good Luck to you’, ‘A jolly Score be yours this merry Season’, and ‘With the season’s greetings’, the latter, dated 1893, with some loss to one bat handle and stump, adhesive marks to verso. Other odd faults, otherwise in good condition.
